The Doors Of Perception & Heaven And Hell

I don’t give a fuck (oh bad language!) about what people think anymore… ninety percent of the time their views are completely different than mine. They view me, judge me… and some get to know me and are proven wrong all the time. Then they come again, to my listen to my knowledge (in comparison to their lack of any intellect). And now, who’s there to look down upon who? Fortunately I don’t care enough to look down upon anyone.

After reading The Doors Of Perception & Heaven And Hell, my own perception of reality and society are forever changed; not only that, but in an unbiased manner. These works of highly analytical content are meant for those who already have some form of an open mind. Unfortunately, I cannot brief on the works. The content is dense and of much, so if you have the urge to interpret what this first-class intellectual has to say, I highly recommend the two-essays-in-one book. Aldous Huxley thoroughly examines aspects of reality through a chemical and psychological frame is theorized with heavy evidence seen in human behavior and works of prior history in the world.

I’m a teenager and instantly (if you an adult reading this) you categorize me into a lower caliber of psychological and emotional thought. Does that seriously make you any smarter than us? Looking at most of you, no. Oh, and if you are another teenager, you probably view me as an anger-ridden teenager with harsh views towards society. Partially yes. Partially, I don’t care what you think if you don’t give me a chance.

I want to live off music, and thats all I want to do. However, I know that to be able to do that, one must have (usually) have extreme talent towards the technicality in musicianship, the ability to lure others into their sound, and a sound that would capture a large scale audience. Now then, I’m not talking about mainstream bands in general, but more bands such as U2, or Modest Mouse, or other large, talented bands. Because of this, the type of music I would like to make would not fit into the required fields, so theoretically I have a very small chance of living independently off of music. No matter how impossible it seems, it doesn’t mean I do not cherish the type of audience and the amount of money and inspiration I would acquire. To me, the possibility and probability of the experiences that are yet-to-come are just as valuable as the ones obtained by the talented mainstream musician.
