Yo yo yo bibs
Hey everyone, sorry I haven’t posted in a while. But here it is. I have music to share, and that’s about all. These bands are experimental-driven, post-rocky, interesting-sounding concoctions of awesomeness. Take a listen.
Battles: This band is a sort of math-rocky, prefuse73 sounding band, consisting of REAL musicians and NOT garageband generated loops. The final product of the sound consists of oompa-loompa like vocals (at parts), radical guitar, strange drum timings, and sexiness.
Godspeed You! Black Emperor: This band consists of multiple musicians ( I do not know how many) which basically bundle
in sounds of people talking, ambiance, white noise, eerie violins and explosions that sound of normal instrumental. When all these aspects are brilliantly executed together, you get Godspeed You! Black Emperor.
Venetian Snares: This devilish concoction of math rock-like timings and horrific electronic (and instrumentated) sounds create Venetian Snares. When this artist was on crack, he would obtain a crack high, settle down, and create sounds attempting the resurrect the euphoric rush in his sound. The darkness and beauty instantly shows clearly in this genius’ work.
The Velvet Teen: Probably the only normal band in this post. This band consists of one guitarist/singer, a bassist, and a drummer. Once dead, they are alive again. I heard of this band through a person… that I would like to this is fairly special. Anyways, they are amazing. Just take a listen.
